*JOB DESCRIPTION:*
- Performance testing experience
- Good understanding of Windows performance counters
- Debugging Java applications - Memory management (jconsole), debugging
(jprofiler) etc.
- Understanding of multi-threaded applications, debugging system
bottlenecks (cpu, memory and disk etc) and debugging crashes and memory
leaks etc
- Debugging of C++ applications (userdump, debugdiag and umdhetc).
- OS – Linux, Windows and Novell
- Windows powershell, shell scripting and Perl
- Relational Databases (MSSQL and/or Oracle) with focus on performance
- Problem solving and system troubleshooting skills
- Experience monitoring or testing a service
- Some coding experience, but does not have to be a specific language.
(PERL, Java, shell script or C, etc)
- Messaging Systems knowledge (Exchange/Domino/GW) - Asset
