Skills Required and Job Description:

Interview Mode - Telephonic then SKYPE Visa Status - USC, GC and EAD'S Only. Project Details - Hiring Manager Notes: Infrastructure team SAS admin with advanced LINUX experience Contract to hire to backfill a perm spot (Conversion after 6 or so months). Does not want to hire someone who is overqualified Support SAS Infrastructure – server environment serving up to 900 users Need knowledge of SAS infrastructure and coding Work with packaging team on licenses Work with the business on best practices Network monitoring software troubleshooting/investigating Need LINUX/UNIX scripting experience  Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or 6+ years relevant work experience SAS Administration experience in Linux environment (e.g. installation tasks, migration, configuration, maintenance, and trouble shooting) Familiarity with SAS Language scripting to include Data Step, Proc SQL, Macros and Stored Processes Unix scripting skills to ensure infrastructure stability through preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, identifying, and implementing long term solutions  Good communication skills with the ability to facilitate interaction with organizational teams and vendors Collaborate with support teams to resolve software, hardware, operational, and application problems through escalation Develop strong partnerships and lead efforts across teams to promote re-use and develop consistent technical build, implementation and support processes  Emphasis on Availability, Automation, and Customer Support Preferred:  Strong SAS Language scripting experience Experience with SAS 9.2 Metadata Repository with an in depth knowledge of authorization and authentication Experience with SAS Web Report Studio and Information Maps RDBMS Administration experience Experience with RStat Statistical tool Experience with licensing and versioning activities related to SAS suite of tools  Experience with Greenplum Database  Manage and direct high severity conference bridges and drive application, infrastructure, and vendor partners to problem resolution  Follow standard project management disciplines for all platform driven initiatives Develop best practices through collaboration across the organization and with key vendor partners
