Telephone – Skype Interview *Location Ann Arbor, Michigan* *Duration 6 Plus Month Contract * * * *Senior Cognos Application * Senior IBM Cognos application troubleshooting and installation experience. 5 plus years installing, configuring and troubleshooting Cognos versions 7 to 10. *Cognos experience a must!* · Over sees the development and implementation of detailed systems. · Over sees the completion of requirement definitions, functional specification, database design, system and technical architecture definition, implementation and unit system testing and development. · Provides both management and technical leadership. · Utilizes project management tools to estimate projects and monitor planning and progress techniques. · Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. · Delivers consulting project activities, ranging from client identification through final invoicing through medium- to long-term engagements requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills. · Technical responsibilities include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and solution deployment. · Performance is typically evaluated based on billable hours and contractual deliverables. · Project management activities include interaction with company and client managers and cost/schedule monitoring. · Financial responsibilities include project cost estimating, proposal generation, and invoicing. · May participate in sales and proposal presentations in addition to completing ongoing team account activities. · Identifies additional product/services opportunities in customer organization. Viewed by customers as a consultant and performance is typically measured by delivery of agreed solutions within budgeted hours. · REQUIREMENTS: Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures; resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative as well as practical ways. This job is the fully qualified, career-oriented, journey-level position. · JOB COMPLEXITY: Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
