Role: Business Analyst(P&C) Location: Los Angeles, CA *Mandatory Skills:* 1. Business Analyst with experience in P&C industry with at least 1 project in Claims; 8 – 12 years experience in IT 2. Knowledge of Commercial and/or Work Comp areas 3. Must have thorough understanding of RUP and use cases 4. Experience in production support, maintenance and development projects 5. Supports users in building Business Case, including cost / benefit analysis, risk assessment, project scope, and development of a high level plan Drives day-to-day prioritization of work on capabilities, working with business. 6. Defines project scope; Prepares Business Requirements document, Develops functional and non-functional specifications, Use Cases, Reports Specifications, Interface Specifications, Wireframes, Screen mockups and specifications 7. Understands customers objectives, processes, and products in order to make educated recommendations 8. Acts as liaison between Business and IT, as assigned. 9. Ability to work in a cross functional, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders and customers 10. Supports the Application Subject Matter Experts in development of estimates / validation of suppliers estimates 11. Supports application testing, implementation, and training activities 12. Supports Application SME in creating the Conceptual Design of system, where appropriate. 13. Understand the SDLC process and supports the project manager in developing the project plan.
