This person would join a team responsible for Java-based service applications that manage thousands of menus and provide low-latency, high availability menu responses to millions of users, and for a proprietary menu-content management system used by Client to define and populate those menus. The ideal candidate will be accomplished in both back-end Java development and front-end web applications. In addition to several years' experience developing commercial software, we're looking for: 1. Excellent core Java knowledge and skills 2. Excellent problem-solving skills and familiarity with common computer science algorithms and concepts 3. Experience developing web applications using JavaScript (including one or more JavaScript frameworks) o Expertise with CSS and HTML are desirable o Familiarity with User Experience best practices is a plus 4.
