*Job Description:*



Scope of development and administration work encompasses managing farms of
SharePoint 2013, 2010, MOSS 2007 until all applications are migrated to
2013.



·         This is a dual role position and the Consultant is responsible
for the following functions:

·         Administer *SharePoint 2013* farm including applying service
packs and hot fixes with strong proficiencies using Central Administration,
IIS and SQL.

·         *Provide technical support for SharePoint 2013 migration from
SharePoint 2007 / 2010*.

·         Analyze Business needs, document requirements, and
design/architecture SharePoint technical solutions.

·         Write custom Web Parts, event handlers, features, site
definitions and package solutions.

·         Design and build InfoPath forms, workflows and use Visual Studio
(2010) / SharePoint

·         *Designer (2013/2010) to build solutions, web parts, Master
pages, themes and CSS.*

·         Deliver web and windows based solutions using .NET technologies
(specifically ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, C# and VB.NET <http://vb.net/>).

·         Design and build applications that interface with other
enterprise applications.

·         Identify, document, facilitate and maintain industry best
practices based upon company policy from a developer's perspective.

·         Create, maintain, support and monitor security permissions and
schemas for SharePoint



*Other Responsibilities & Attributes of the role:*

·         *Maintain the health of 2013 / 2010 / 2007 farms and designing,
developing and implementing high-quality solutions using Microsoft
technologies and open source software. This position requires a strong
technical skill set.*

·         Administrative duties, such as assisting end users with routine
account management activities, establishing new accounts, modifying
privileges, managing user permissions, reviewing and producing reporting
regarding usage / aging of sites.

·         We are presently on SharePoint 2013, 2010 and 2007, and plan to
migrate all to SharePoint 2013.  This position requires experience with
both versions as well as relevant experience in migration projects.

·         This position is responsible for designing solutions to meet
business demands and is required to take ownership of problems and work
with team members to deliver solutions that meet Business needs.



*Basic Qualifications:*

·         Professional experience in providing solutions with SharePoint.

·         Professional development experience using .NET technologies (
ASP.NET <http://asp.net/>, VB.NET <http://vb.net/> and C#).

·         *Experience developing applications for SharePoint 2013 / 2010 /
MOSS 2007 using custom Web Parts, SharePoint Designer and visual studio.*

·         Experience with troubleshooting non-recurring and
performance-related SharePoint problems, including but not limited to error
messaging.

·         Experience creating and consuming Web Services.

·         Expertise in the design, implementation, and deployment of
user-centric software, with focus on usability.
