In addition, this person will be required to provide after hours support, 24 x 7 on a rotating basis. The Database Administrator will be primarily responsible for the maintenance, enhancement and performance tuning DB2 UDB/LUW for Unix databases. The DBA will also work as part of a team to provide DB2 DBMS subsystem management. While DB2 UDB support will be the primary responsibility of the Database Administrator, providing maintenance, enhancement and operational support to additional DBMSs will be required. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related technical field In-depth DB2 UDB/LUW Database Administration experience (3+ years). DBA certifications a plus. Database Administration Experience with DB2 for Z/OS , Optim, IBM Curam will be a plus.
