SAP ABAP Consultant
"Trasys is engaged in a large scale SAP project for an important
international client located in Luxemburg and Brussels. This 5 year
commitment covers the implementation project and the subsequent maintenance
of the solution.The project, which is currently in blueprint phase, covers
the full implementation of SAP in Finance, controlling, budgeting, asset
management and procurement.In order to re-enforce the SAP team, we are
looking for experienced consultants in the different functional and
technical area's described below. We offer a permanent contract with Trasys
Luxembourg, and a long-term assignment on a challenging project, with the
possibility to continue after implantation on the subsequent phases or to
expand your career within the SAP department.
Job description
- Responsible for the delivery of ABAP program assets based on technical
specifications
- Provide technical expertise for system design, testing, implementation
and support
- Provide input into design of SAP enhancemants and roll outs, offerin
advice and thoughts providing feedback
- Develop high quality code and its associated documentation adhering to
team and departmental development standards
- Develop solutions to prolems with unknown causes where precedents do
not exist by applying logic and inference with creativity and initiative
- Provide SAP support including analysis, development, testing, tracking
and resolution
- Participate in team activities and team planning with the aim of
improving team skills, awareness and quality of work
Your profile
- Good experience of working on a highly customised SAP system
- Broad knowledge of SAP functional areas particularly FI-CO,FM and MM
- Logical and structured approach to time management and task
prioritisation
- High level of communication skills (verbal and written) in French and
English
- Work independently to archieve current aims and should be able to
prioritise her/his effort
- Proven experience of:
- Object oriented programming
- Report writing using ALV and ABAP lists
- Sapscript and smart forms
- Dialogue programming
- Interfaces
- BADIs/BAPIs
- User exits/enhancements
- BDCs
- Workflow
- WebDynpro
- LSMW
- University degree with minimum 4 years in IT OR non-university degree
with Minimum 6 years’ experience in IT
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in SAP Implementation projects
- Practical experience with formal methodology and its application to
the project life-cycle
- Proven experience in implementing and following quality procedures
- Work location is Luxembourg
