Java Developer needed in the New York office. Contract duration is six months plus We are looking for a senior Java Developer with experience in building and maintaining business critical enterprise-wide applications.
The individual will be part of a talented software team that works on mission critical applications. He/she will be responsible for J2EE application development while providing expertise in the full software development life cycle, from concept and design to testing. Responsibilities:Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Write well designed, testable, efficient code. Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications. Prepare and produce releases of software components. Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review. Requirements: 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development Responsible for analysis, design, coding and testing of new applications or enhancements to existing applications using Java-based technologies, including Java, J2EE, JSP, XML, JDBC, Servlets, and Dojo framework.
