*Interview mode: Phone **than Skype* *Job Description: * Client is looking for a motivated and experienced software engineer to join the R&D NETS Support team in Internal Systems. The team develops and supports critical network applications which are used to design, provision, monitor and regulate the Bloomberg Network, one of the largest private networks in the world. The applications include everything from sophisticated UIs with well- designed workflows to highly scalable, fast, reliable multithreaded backend servers. The successful candidate will have an opportunity to contribute to all parts of the system using languages and tools like C/C++, Microsoft SQL Server, and various proprietary tools while working hand in hand with end users and developers from across the company. Qualifications: - At least 5 years of software engineering experience - Strong C/C++/object oriented design skills - Strong problem solving and analytical skills - Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms - Knowledge of database concepts, experience with Microsoft SQL Server is a plus - Good communication skills and ability to work in small and big team environments - Knowledge and experience of any scripting languages like python, perl is a plus.
