*214-541-9047 Position: QA Tester (Face to face interview after telephonic) Location: Columbus, OH Duration: 6+ months* *OVERVIEW* *The QA Analyst is responsible for the planning and execution of quality assurance tasks ensuring products and services satisfy customer and brand expectations. * He / she will review requirements / stories, schedules, coordinate QA tasks (technical and non-technical), and communicate to stakeholders on project status, issues, and risks. Candidates should have experience working with teams in a matrix organization, facilitate discussions with technical and non-technical team members to find solutions to issues, and ensure transparency during the testing stages of a project. Candidates should have a strong technical background and a proven track-record of launching projects on-time. *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* O Develop comprehensive test plans, develop timelines and execute test cases (manual and automated) O Work with product, design, and technology team members to conduct cross-browser and regression tests O Analyze test results, document defects and issues in tracking systems (Jira, Trello, etc.) O Proactively troubleshoot issues and work with teams to resolve issues O Participate in planning sessions to determine testing approach and strategy O Translate business/editorial requirements into QA tasks and communicate complex technical issues to non-technical teams O Effectively manage multiple project schedules, priorities, and help negotiate conflicts as needed to meet deadlines O Focus on continual improvement and innovation O Ensure tasks are executed on-time and within budget *QUALIFICATIONS* O Experience testing websites and web applications on desktop browsers, mobile phones and tablets O Experience working with with Selenium (Web driver preferred) automation tools *O Experience with agile and waterfall methodologies and processes* *O Experience with project issue tracking tools such as Jira, Trello, Basecamp, etc. * O Experience testing large online / web applications and projects (e-commerce experience a must) *O Experience with enterprise analytics and advertising platforms (ex. Omniture, DART / DFP)* *O Familiarity with HTML, JS, CSS* *O Knowledge of applications / technologies used in managing content-driven websites –Interwoven / Teamsite, WordPress, Vignette, etc. * O Proven ability to create clear, detailed, concise test plans (please include samples) O Experience or interest in media, publishing, and / or a related industry O Must be professional, thorough and attentive to detail.
