Summary of essential job functions: • Design and develop client-server applications using Java J2EE and client technologies. • Unit test, debug and deploy applications to test and production environments. • Provide support (Testing, Operations, Deployments, QA and Documentation). • Work closely with project management, support personnel, and other teams. • Rapidly fix bugs and solve pressing problems. • Participate in agile software development methodologies like Scrum. • Work with version control tools such as Subversion and project tracking tools such as JIRA in a team setting. Minimum requirements: • Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science or related field. • Fundamentals in Object-Oriented Design (OOD), data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis. • Knowledge of programing languages such as JAVA and J2EE. • Familiarity with Java servlets, RESTful API, XML, AJAX. • Familiarity with web application programming and client-server request cycles. • Familiarity with web application servers (Glassfish, Tomcat, JBOSS, Web Logic). • Sound knowledge with SQL or any RDBMs. • Familiarity with Eclipse, Net Beans, or similar IDEs. • Knowledge of Mobile Development (Android/iOS/Windows Phone).
