*Oracle Apps DBA* *Location San Jose CA * *Duration: 6 months* *Required Skills: * Ø *More than 7+ years of experienced DBA with Oracle Database application administration and Oracle Fusion Middleware administration experience* Ø Good experience in Oracle Databases 10G and 11G Ø Good experience in installing, configuring Oracle e-business suite 11i, R12 Ø Experience in Support installation, configuration, and administration of multiple middleware platforms Ø Experience in Oracle EBS Integration using Oracle fusion middleware Ø Understand concepts related to web server load balancing and other application scaling concepts. Troubleshooting DNS, Linux, Networking, J2EE, Web and application server issues. Ø Manage support requests and plan tasks effectively, implement change control process, and report task progress and status. Ø Must have worked in a Linux based environment and possess strong shell scripting and Linux administration skills Ø Must have on-call support experience Ø Upgrade EBS - 11.5.10 to Release 12.x. Platform – UNIX & RHEL Linux Ø Cloning Oracle Database and Applications with focus on automation Ø Database and Oracle R12 & 11.5.10 Applications - Installation, Administration, Support, Upgrade, and Maintenance Ø High Availability & Disaster recovery of Oracle Database and Oracle Applications Ø Automation & Scripting to optimize processes Ø Experience with Oracle support, Service request follow-up Ø Patching and Upgrading Oracle Applications Ø Backup and Recovery of Oracle Database and Applications. Ø Troubleshooting both Oracle Database and Application, Performance Tuning. Ø System documentation and preparing run books Ø Identify possible issues and suggest alternate action plans to mitigate risk.
