*Location: 199 Fremont St, San Francisco, CA USA 94105 – Need Locals Only* *Duration: 12 + months * *Primary Job Responsibilities: Conducts analysis, designs products, and programs computer software that requires extensive research. Typical background for this position is advance study/knowledge in the field of computer science or software engineering along with advanced knowledge of software development and methodologies. Job Responsibilities: 1. Design, Develop and maintain new important platform level projects - Java 7 upgrade, Data Center move, Platform APIs 2. Maintain some critical platform level projects like API Gateway and Couchbase- Couchbase is a caching framework 3. Document and educate other Platform team members on Projects developed 4. Interact and interface with other Application Teams on usage of Platform frameworks and APIs. Skills Required/Desired: 1. Core Java 7+ programming language required 2. API Development in an SOA environment required 3. Spring 3+, Hibernate frameworks desired 4. Experience in Build systems like Maven or Ant required 5. Experience in Tools and Automation such as Jenkins and Puppet desired 6. Scripting in Bash or other scripting language preferred 7.
