Job- Programmer Analyst Location- Birmingham AL Duration- 1+ Year contract running through this year and likely to extend through 2015, Comm skills need to be an 8/10. This is a mainframe project and the candidates must have experience with *PEP+ VSAM and PEP+ DB2*. Additional information is below. This resource will need to have at least 5 years’ experience with of PEP+ VSAM and PEP+ DB2. This position will be responsible for helping to support PEP+ in the production environment and also work on the PEP+ DB2 project. The resource must competent to work at the highest technical level. Required Knowledge/Skills (Excellent organization skills, etc.) and IT Skills (ex. Programming skills with Java, Cobol, etc.) Five plus years programming and analysis experience is required, Mainframe experience with COBOL, JCL CICS and VSAM is a requirement. Knowledge of the Fiserv PEP+ application is a requirement. Mainframe experience with COBOL, JCL CICS and VSAM is required. Knowledge of banking is desirable. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written desired.
