*Position:: Business Analyst* *Location:: Ann Arbor, MI* *Duration:: 1+ year* *Rate:: $35/hr on C2C* *Note:- Any visa workable.* *Job Description:-* Our client, a leading financial institution, seeks a Business Analyst with Mortgage experience as a Business Analyst. Qualifications: • Experience supporting mortgage business as Business Analyst preferred. • Self-manage work assignments while also able to work effectively with the project team. • Experience with General Ledger, accounting, financial analysis, • Analytical and judgment skills necessary to evaluate, interpret, and reconcile accounting data according to company and departmental procedures • Demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills in leading analysis and requirements gathering. • Proven experience in requirements gathering and documentation. *Responsibilities include: * • Acts as a liaison between client area and technical organization by planning, conducting, and directing the analysis of highly complex business problems to be solved with automated systems. • Provides technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet business requirements. • Works with user groups to provide training, resolve questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes. • Prepares specifications for system changes. • Recommends and initiates systems testing. • Acts as an internal consultant within technology and business groups by using quality tools and process definition/improvement to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiencies. • Provides direction and guidance to less experienced staff. • Being able to elicit requirements through interviews, documented analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases & scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis • Being able to create Gap Analysis documents which points out the gaps between the current process and future required state • Ability to perform the Impact Analysis to determine the business impact • Knowledge to created Change Management Documents with high level process flows for the management team to illustrate the Current and Future state of the System, and Issues that needs to be addressed • Knowledge to create various use cases, test scripts, main flows, alternative flows based on the User Interface • Ability to faciliatate JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions with the business users, management team, developers • Responsible for analysis, recommending and coordinating the implementation of changes to the existing internal system • Elicited requirements through interviews, documented analysis, requirements workshops, business process descriptions, use cases & scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis • Created Gap Analysis documents which points out the gaps between the current process and future required state • Performed the Impact Analysis to determine the business impact • Created Change Management Documents with high level process flows for the management team to illustrate the Current and Future state of the System, and Issues that needs to be addressed • Created various use cases, test scripts, main flows, alternative flows based on the User Interface • Facilitated JAD (Joint Application Development) sessions with the business users, management team, developers • Responsible for analysis, recommending and coordinating the implementation of changes to the existing internal system • Facilitated UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with business users, management group and team members • Lead the quarterly releases of the system to facilitate and manage the implementation of projects/enhancements *Jyoti Budhwar* United Software Group Inc. 565 Metro Place S.
