*Interview mode: Phone than F2F.Job Description:*Looking for 5+ years Linux System administration and engineering experience with a focus on bash and Perl scripting. Opportunity is in a dynamic infrastructure team responsible for a datacenter located in Richmond VA supporting over 200 servers. Will be converting scripts that run on Solaris to execute on Linux. *Knowledge and Skills* The Linux/Unix Admin must demonstrate solid problem solving skills. Good oral and written communication skills are a must. Planning, organizing, accountability and initiative are all required skills. *Required Skills* Should be able to support Extensive experienced with Perl. Significant Linux operating system experience Able to create and manage Perl modules Experience with Perl DBI APIs for database access. Experience with Oracle utilities, especially sqlplus and slqldr Excellent UNIX shell scripting skills (BASH, KSH, etc.) Experience in developing code that is reusable and standardized Good documentation skills. Please supply examples *Desired Skills* Strong skills in relational databases and writing SQL (ideally Oracle) Familiar with Oracle concepts and technologies such as Cursors, Ref-cursors, Procedures, Functions and Packages, Oracle Supplied Packages, Collections, Partitioned Tables, Triggers, Table Indexing Experience with file encryption technologies like PGP Java development experience, especially with Java batch/command line type jobs Experience with developer tools like Eclipse, PL/SQL Developer and TOAD *Education:* BS in Computer Science, related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience. *BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering or related discipline or the equivalent in education and work experience 2+ years' experience with Linux, UNIX Shell.
