Industry: Healthcare Location: Pleasanton, CA Duration: 6 months Purpose and Description: · The Principal Data Center Networking Strategist investigates, executes and orchestrates the investigation, planning and implementation of core enterprise network capabilities that provide value to Client, perpetually aligned with its business objectives and strategies · The successful candidate will work in tandem with Network Services (engineering and operations), Digital Health Technologies and the Technology Risk Office to drive the realization of these critical technology capabilities · The successful candidate will work closely with the business, business units, Digital Health Technology, engineering and operations, and other IT constituents to solicit and rationalize business and technical requirements · The successful candidate will participate in business strategy development subsequently orchestrating the definition and employment of realizable technology strategies and solutions. · The successful candidate will work closely with vendor and market representation to ensure visibility to technology trends that represent opportunity for Client · The candidate will work closely with executive and technical touch points within Client’s vendor portfolio to drive feature and capability alignment between vendor roadmaps and Client’s business needs in addition to co-innovation with strategic Client vendors and partners in the interest of evolving the domain of enterprise and datacenter network technology in healthcare · The successful candidate will collaborate with industry innovators such as silicon-valley tech companies and venture capital firms to ensure visibility to, and in many cases influence emerging technologies · The successful candidate will define and execute Proof of Concept, Proof of Technology and Pilot activities in support of rationalizing and vetting technologies that provide value to Client · The candidate will collaboratively orchestrate these activities with business and IT stakeholders, quickly driving to decision and subsequent action. · The successful candidate will possess outstanding oral, presentation, and written communication skills · This role requires excellent team building and collaboration skills to affect vital cross-organizational support and mobilization Essential Functions: · Strategy · Planning · Research Required Experience: · Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, mathematics, business, or other related scientific or technical discipline desired.
