*Main Responsibilities:* The candidate should be technically competent to design and implement an infrastructure solution and provide level 4 support with minimal assistance. · The candidate should be able to work with project management team to develop project plan and, with the project manager, manage and implement projects. · Assists in analyzing end user requirements and designs infrastructure solutions that interface with existing companies systems · Able to balance many infrastructure delivery priorities. · Completes technical analysis, design, and systems management for development and support initiatives. · Understands the application of infrastructure standards and patterns. · Well-versed in solution engineering for infrastructure services. · Provides production support as needed for multiple applications that are maintained by company. · Provides level 4 support for the development environment. · Performs as a technical adviser on system architecture, level of effort estimates, project plans/ and timelines and internal practices. · Coordinates the review of specification, user sign-off process, and the development of support/management manuals (run books). · Knowledgeable in the estimation of infrastructure delivery costs. · Ability to manage and provide oversight of third party delivery resources. · Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and resolve concerns. · Provides accurate and timely status reporting as needed, including task and time reporting. *Education* · High School diploma or equivalent required. · Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, Computer Science or equivalent work experience strongly preferred. Relevant technology certification is encouraged *Skills and Experience* - 6 – 8 years of experience in the field of enterprise infrastructure engineering or operations successfully designing and implementing infrastructure delivery with accountability for work direction. - Strong communication and organizational skills and delivery methodology. - Strong bias toward the conservative deployment of infrastructure resources to ensure a highly utilized environment. - Strong performance management and troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software. - Experience in application troubleshooting. - Experience in the deployment of both physical and virtual environments. - Experience in creating application releases for deployment. - Excellent working knowledge of VMWare environments and Hyper-V concepts. - Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems (Windows Server / RHEL preferred). - Excellent working knowledge of enterprise storage systems (EMC VNX preferred). - Excellent working knowledge of enterprise networking systems (Cisco, F5, Radius). - 3+ years’ experience in ITIL, particularly ITSM. ITIL certification preferred (v3 Foundation). - A working knowledge of major infrastructure services including platforms, network, and storage. - Demonstrated solid understanding of scalable technology architectures and processes. - Understanding of PCI requirements at the infrastructure level. *Technical / professional qualifications:* · A broad understanding of enterprise-class technologies. · Detailed understanding of Windows, VMware. · Detailed understanding of Oracle databases, SQL from an infrastructure viewpoint. · Ability to interface with Applications Team to understand the application landscape and their interface to different systems in the IT landscape · Should have thorough Hands-On/Consulting/Planning experience (5 to 6 yrs) in the following Technology Areas: o Server Technologies o Storage Technologies o Virtualization Technologies o Operating Systems (Linux, Solaris & Windows) · Holistic view of IT Infrastructure · Domain Skills that are required are classified into the following categories o *Expert* – Extensive and substantial practical and applied knowledge on the subject. o *Knowledge* – Detailed knowledge of the subject area and capable of providing professional advice and guidance.
