*Role ::: Linux Systems Administrator* *Location :::* *Austin, Texas* *Duration ::: 6 + months* *Required Skills:- * · Linux (Rhel 7, 6 & 5.1) Administration · Virtualization (VMware. Leostream, and CF Engine) · Scripting (Perl, Python) · Security Focused Administration of Servers · Providing Infrastructure-Level Solutions to Business Problems · Documenting Technologies and Procedures · On-Call Support · Configuration Management of Servers · Capacity Planning and Performance Troubleshooting · Consistent and proactive approach to identifying risks, vulnerabilities, and issues in our environments which you then collaboratively drive to mitigation · Use application tools to monitor, alert, diagnose and troubleshoot network, application and server issues · Plan and execute deployment of new capacity and manage various deployments · Perform application and site performance analysis · Act as 2rd or 3rd level support for incidents escalated from our Command Center. · Automate repetitive tasks to eliminate manual work where possible *This Linux Systems Administrator will demonstrate the following skills/competencies: * · 5+ years of Linux administration experience · Experience With 24x7 User-Facing Application Environments · Unix/Linux-Based Scripting Skills (Bash, Perl, Python) · Experience with Multiple Cloud Technologies · Advanced Knowledge of Linux, Apache, Tomcat, Java, MySQL technologies · Solid experience with Unix/Linux, and the ability to automate, and deploy to scale. · Understanding and experience with OS virtualization (KVM) · FTP, TCP/IP, and SSH and other relevant tools and protocols · Formal understanding of storage and underlying protocols (NFS, ISCSI, etc.) · Formal understanding of networking. · Excellent Communication Skills *Thanks and regards,* *Ruchika* United Software Group Inc. 565 Metro Place S.
