HD Supply offers the compensation, benefits and incentive programs to build your best life. *Job Summary* Utilize business requirement and technical design documents to formulate test scenarios and test cases to run against new and enhanced web applications. Execute test cases and determine problems that exist between the expected and the actual test results. Identify, analyze and track defects, issues, risks, and action items along with identifying the business and system requirements as part of the project team. We are looking for a senior, well-rounded Software Quality Assurance analyst/engineer. They should be able to help mentor their peers, and bring new ideas/perspectives to the team, challenging current paradigms. *Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities* • Research and test defect fixes and/or newly delivered web functionality in QA and Staging environments. Analyze, research and document test requirements for system bug fixes, enhancements and requests. Provide test support. • Develop and maintain test specifications. Research and evaluate program modifications. • Coordinate resources and test environments with other departments. • Perform test activities including development of test plans and test cases. Review test outcomes and validate expected versus actual results. Notify affected parties during and upon completion of test activity. Document results. • Develop detailed regression test plans and test cases. Determine detailed timeframes. • Assist with planning of QA Department processes and procedures. Participate in QA meetings. • Provide peer review function for other QA Analysts. *Nature and Scope* • Demonstrate skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data. • Nature of work requires increasing independence; receives guidance only on unusually complex problems or issues. Work typically involves periodic reviews of output by supervisor and/or direct "customers" of the process. • May provide general guidance/direction to or train junior level support personnel or professional personnel. Work Environment • Most of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8 - 20 pounds). • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
