Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Senior .Net Developer *Project Location* Richmond, VA *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI Telephonic + Skype* * NEED USC GC EAD -GC only* Primarily responsible for the development of web-based enterprise applications, with secondary tasks to include assisting other developers, contributing to software architecture, and assisting in the development of software standards. *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* 1. Requiring no oversight or support, designs, develops, and maintains enterprise-wide web applications using ASP.net, VB.net, C#, AJAX, JavaScript/JQuery, MVC, Bootstrap, Knockout and XML. 2. Designs, develops and maintains n-tier business and data tiers including a custom framework built in the .NET 3.5, 4.5 framework. 3. Sets up and manages IIS 7. 4. Develops software using newer language and technology features of the .NET framework including WCF services, LINQ, and Lambda Expressions. 5. Keeps current with new technologies and software methodologies related to the Microsoft software development platform. 6. Creates and maintains code libraries and documentation. 7. Analyzes, tracks and fixes defects in current applications written in ASP.net, VB.net, & C#. 8. Other duties as assigned. *EDUCATION AND EXPERIECE:* 1. Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology with a concentration in programming; and 2. Minimum of 6 year of software development experience, or 3. Equivalent combination of education and experience. *ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:* 1. Understanding of the .NET framework version 2.0 & 3.5. 2. Understanding of the software development life-cycle. 3. Strong foundation in object oriented programming. 4. Knowledge of web development, HTTP, CSS, and JavaScript, and browser compatibility. 5. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. 6. Ability to work in a team-based environment. 7. Strong attention to detail.
