*Position:- SAP FICO Functional Consultant* *Location:- Atlanta, GA/Roanoke, VA* *MOI:- Phone/Skype* *Duration:- 4+ Months* *They will need to be okay with being at Roanoke, VA for a little while and then coming to Atlanta, GA.* This position is located currently in our Atlanta, GA office building but will start for a few months in Roanoke, VA Client is seeking resumes for an SAP Functional consultant specializing in the Finance modules of SAP – specifically AR (Accounts Receivable), PS (Project Systems), and SD (Sales & Distribution – Billing). While the job will be primarily around AR, PS, and SD support, the candidate will need to obtain an understanding of the other areas of Finance to be able to provide backup and coverage over other areas for vacations and other absences. The candidate will be working directly with the application support team, ABAP development team members and departmental personnel from Accounting. The candidate should have a solid understanding of the SAP Finance environment to allow for sound decision making ability and recognition of downstream impacts of such decisions. *Education*: 4-yr college degree preferred *Skills Required:* - 3 to 5 years of business experience and can demonstrate solid business process knowledge in at least one of these functional areas: Ø Accounts Payable Ø Accounts Receivable Ø Miscellaneous Billing Ø Procurement or Materials Management - Understands IT processes and procedures - Works well individually and in teams - Strong written and verbal communications skills - Comfortable working with new processes and systems - Strong analytical skills - Strong organizational skills; attention to detail - Good conceptual and problem solving skills to evaluate business problems and apply applications knowledge to identify appropriate solutions - Solid understanding of SAP technical architecture - Good interpersonal skills; effective team player - Ability to "think outside the box" while identifying problems, developing creative solutions and advising the team members *Experience required:* - Experience in configuring and implementing SAP products - Experience with IMG configuration for SAP Finance - Knowledge of the SAP ASAP project methodology - Good understanding of integration and Business Process Designs points between key modules that work with SAP Finance. - Proficient in writing functional requirements and being involved with process as well as functional design activities *Preferred but not required:* - Experience with SAP Solution Manager - Experience with HP ALM (Quality Center) - Experience with HP Service Manager *Description of Duties:* - Makes use of SAP reference material and knowledge to translate business requirements into valid functional requirements that the IT Development team can use to develop and implement solutions. - Adheres to SAP ASAP or other recommended methodology for the systems development life cycles. - Contributes to the timely production of meaningful, effective, accurate and efficient SAP configuration to provide the overall informational needs of the corporation. - Prepares system documentation and maintains security in accordance with department standards. - Fluently communicates ideas and solutions with both technical peers and business partners. - Assists business partners in creating test scripts and testing SAP solutions. - Responsible for understanding and supporting their assigned business process(es).
