Please include your employer details as well. *Job Title* Mobile Apps Test Engineer *Project Location* San Diego, CA *Duration* 6 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI-Telephonic+Face2Face* * Minimum Requirements* - BS degree in Computer Engineering, computer science or similar technology - Experience with Android and iOS (phones and tablets) - Demonstrated ability in test engineering and test process improvements - Demonstrated ability in test automation development for mobile applications - Ability to create and make enhancements to the Automation Framework - Demonstrated ability to write detailed test plans based on industry standards specifications. - Demonstrated ability to apply technical skills and understanding of the fundamentals involved in computer software and firmware. - Demonstrated in-depth technical knowledge of software testing and troubleshooting. - Demonstrated ability to write programs, scripts and procedures using a high-level programming language (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python, VISUAL BASIC, PERL, HTML...) as appropriate. - Demonstrated ability to work independently to achieve desired results from general objectives. - Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. - Excellent English communication skills: listening, speaking, writing and presenting. Able to express thoughts and concepts to a variety of people with different skill levels. - Strong initiative and willingness to learn. - Ability to convert test cases & end-to-end scenarios into repeatable manual and automated test cases - Deep Knowledge of Test and Tool Development Methodology - Ability to work under pressure, deal with ambiguity and multi-task. Strong desire to learn new things and work/thrive in fast-paced, fast-changing environment - Experience with mobile networks, protocols, and devices; Wi-Fi and 3G testing experience - Understanding screen rotation handling and handling various screen sizes and densities in a single code base. - Strong knowledge of mobile native and mobile browser technologies - Ability to troubleshoot complex software / hardware configuration problems - Experience in building and designing test cases. Strong analytical & problem solving, documentation, and communication skills - Excellent time management skills required.
