Local candidates. Rates are negotiable! *LEAD QA Analyst (San Ramon, CA)* seeking a Senior QA Test Engineer who will design and execute test cases against various Protiviti . Review requirements, design documentation and discuss with business and technical personnel as inputs. Work closely with remote testers at vendor location and off-site developers as well. Specific responsibilities will include: \ Ø *Communication is most important piece* Ø Design/maintain test plans including cycles, cases/conditions, expected results and requirement mapping. Ø Execute and validate test cases/scripts and identify discrepancies of actuals versus expected. Ø Ensure best practices are followed by all test team members on project associated with testing process and documentation. Ø Be able to provide accurate effort estimates for project test effort. Ø Identify and facilitate issue resolution with functional and technical groups. Ø Prepare and update test work plans after each project phase. Ø Be able to delineate team tasks as associated with overall testing effort and understand dependencies / entry criteria to start test case design. Ø Define test approach to ensure common framework and identify issues for test planning and execution. Ø Work with the engineering leads/business analysts to understand project architecture, business requirements, functional requirements to devise the appropriate test strategy. Ø Prepare daily status on progress against work plan, including risks and issues. Ø Monitor test progress across pre-defined test exit criteria. Ø Create final test summary report including lesson learned. Ø Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced test engineers. Ø Coordinate the activities of other testing resources across the QS organization. Qualifications: Ø BS Computer Science. Ø ISTQB Testing Fundamentals.
