· We have a need for a BW Architect with Upgrade and Migration exp.
· Must have done and Upgrade and migration in the recent past.
· *BW on Hana (Upgrade and Migration)*
· *3.x to 7.x conversion and optimization exp.*
*BW Architect:*
1. Expertise in BW 7.x on HANA/ RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server)
2. Must have upgrade & migration experience in BW on RDBMS and BW on HANA
3. Seasoned professional who is a self-starter, driven with good
communication & written skills
4. BW Upgrade experience
1. Must have dealt with BW conversion 3.x to 7.x
2. Must have dealt with BW security changes – 3.x to 7.x
3. Must have dealt with Unicode conversion
5. BW Migration experience
1. 7.0 to 7.3 experience/ 7.3 to 7.4 experience
2. Classical migration approach
3. DMO approach
4. Metadata approach
6. Knowledge or expertise in temperature based data management
1. Use of IQ NLS
2. Defining guideline for Hot/ Warm/ Cold storage
7. Must have worked with different integration scenarios
1. BW on HANA with BOBJ 4.1
2. BW on RDBMS with BOBJ
3. BW with BODS (using ODP etc.)
4. Other integration points like SAP EP
8. Expertise in BW Performance tuning & optimization from a HANA
perspective
1. Knowledge of tasks during conversion
2. Knowledge of tasks in pre & post upgrade stages
3. Knowledge of tasks in pre & post migration stages
9. Expertise/ knowledge with HANA modeling in a BW on HANA scenario
