*Title: **Sr. Systems Administrator IV* *Location: **Portland, OR* *Contract: **6 months* *This role is expected to provide system administration functions, with a focus on the primary application/function of the server(s) for which the position is responsible. * *• Configure services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.* *• Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures.* *• Contribute to and maintain system standards.* *• Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs.* *• Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.* *• Monitor daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up.* *• Create, change, and delete user accounts per request.* *• Investigate and troubleshoot issues.* *• Repair and recover from software failures.
