*Role : Network Engineer!* *Location :* Detroit MI *Duration :* 8+ *No interview (Direct Hire)* *Need a guy **with** surname Patel* *First preference : Green Card* *Position Summary:* Responsible for securing the company's data and infrastructure. Determining security needs, developing and implementing solutions, and enforcing security policies are essential skills for this position. This individual will make recommendations as well as implement and manage controls around internal and external facing company resources. *Essential Functions:* o Performs technical security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability assessments on servers, network devices, and appliances o Implementing, monitoring, and managing security solutions o Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related security o Develop and execute testing plans to ensure configuration changes, software upgrades, and patches are thoroughly tested and documented in the test environment before being implemented in production o Build and maintain test, development, QA, and production environments to support the application life cycle o Responsible for best practices related to Intrusion Detection and Prevention o Develop and execute plans for monitoring of all systems and applications in the production environment to ensure optimum system performance and availability o Perform regular risk assessments and make recommendations for continued improvement o Perform forensic analysis to determine root cause of security related incidents o Participate in the successful transition of services to support staff o Work with regulatory companies to meet industry compliance o Research and report industry trends in applications, security, and system maintenance to ensure all systems meet standards for security and performance o Provide best practices training to other members of the team to ensure continuity in systems design and security o Serve as the escalation point for 24x7 support o Perform other duties as assigned *Job Requirements:* *Education:* o Bachelor’s degree in related field is required o Possess certifications including Security and Network certifications such as GIAC, CISSP, CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP *Experience: * o A minimum of eight years’ experience in data protection, identity and access management. o Experience with the design, planning, implementation, and maintenance of security solutions required. o Experience with Firewalls, Application Firewalls, IPS, Proxy, log management, remote access technologies (VPN), web site protection controls, RADIUS, TACACS, two factor authentication is preferred o Experience with Cisco Iron Port is preferred o Experience in Qualys penetration software is preferred o Experience with Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery are required. o Experience with Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux operating systems is required o Experience with network access control. *Knowledge:* o Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures as they relate to building high performance enterprise systems. o Working knowledge of security best practices o Understanding of HTTP, SSL, IPSEC, LDAP, L2TP, TLS, DNS, SSH, SNMP, transport encryption technologies for VPN and secure web site access *Skills:* o Vulnerability management and remediation o Excellent troubleshooting and technical documentation skills o Ethical hacking skills are a plus o Skill in verbal and written communications *Abilities:* o Ability to analyze information from multiple sources and apply it to the operational environment in developing and maintaining the security posture of the network o Ability to work independently and exercise judgment in decision making o Ability to collaborate with other IT Professionals to achieve common project goals o Able to work on multiple projects/priorities in a deadline-driven environment o Must be able to remain calm in pressure situations and adapt quickly to change o Able and willing to travel occasionally *Thank you, and have a great day.* Sujith.M Lead Technical Associate SoftSages LLC | A e-verified, MBE certified corporation. *suj...@softsages.com <a...@softsages.com> | Direct : **484 772 8165 <14847728165> | 484 402 7869 X 103 * In case of my unavailability, you can reach my manager, Aman at *| *484 604 0603 *| | *a...@softsages.com *|* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "International SAP Projects" group.
