*Job Title* Netbackup / Unix Admin *Project Location* Baltimore MD *Duration* 6 months /Contract * Skills Required and Job Description:* • Knowledgeable in NetBackup 7.5 o Know how to create policies o Know how to schedule jobs o Know how to adjust NetBackup schedules quickly if problems arise o Has used NetBackup to back up Teradata • Knowledge on EMC DD890/Data Domain o Know how to review logs and trouble shoot problems o They will not have access to fix the problems but they should be able to provide information to the Teradata CSR to aid him in getting the problem fixed. • Knowledge of TARA, DSA and configuration of Teradata BAR solutions is a big plus • Knowledge of Unix o Very proficient in permissions, ACLs and understanding a complex environment o Able to install software on Solaris machines FTP software to the target server from workstation§ Install the target software§ Get connections up and running (ODBC, JDBC, etc)§ If they have installed Teradata Tools and Utilities that is a plus§ o Ability to read, understand and troubleshoot logs if there are issues o Ability to do some shell programming in ksh • Logical approach to work and problems • Ability to work in an environment where people are remote and may not have the same knowledge level • Learns quickly • Knows when to ask for help instead of spending lots of time on a problem -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "International SAP Projects" group.
