This is a position for a self-starter who has strong organizational and technical skills, and an ability to formulate test strategies and plans for complex and challenging projects with limited direction. *Key Responsibilities:* - Work with Software developers to ensure the application meets technical requirements and customer expectations. - Create manual and automated test cases from requirement documentation. - Execute manual and automated test cases. - Create software defect reports in the defect tracking system. - Organize and prioritize testing tasks as needed to meet project timelines. *Qualifications:* - A BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering field required. - 6+ years experience in software quality assurance required. - Excellent written and verbal communication, problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills are required. - Experience with using automated test frameworks. - Solid UNIX/Linux experience a plus. - Hands on experience with Grey Box and Black Box testing required. - Hands on experience with relational database concepts and SQL queries. - *Experience testing Web Services(SOAP and REST protocols) and server applications without a UI required.* - Knowledge of popular and current, television programs, movies, sports, and celebrities. - Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and schedules.
