F2f if local * *JD:* *Position Overview* Location Management solution to provide automated serviceability checks for Business Services, for Carrier Ethernet Service partners. Business would like a complete Location Management solution built to cover on-net, off-net and near-net address serviceability. Enhance the InSite Serviceability tool to provide accurate serviceability results for COAX, Fiber and Comcast Business products. Enhanced TN serviceability checks for Advanced Voice and Cross Ratecenter Porting checks for in-footprint and OOF addresses. *Core Responsibilities* Develops enhancements and new functionality for the Web applications/Batch applications. The individual will be provided high level requirements and must be able to identify and decompose additional requirements as needed. • Create Wireframes/Prototypes based on the requirements, and present to the team. Conduct and participate in Design Sessions/Reviews. Provide quality inputs, adhering to Web standards and software best practices. • Provide ongoing production support and fix issues. • Write user guides, Functional Specifications and improve existing documentation. • Produce high level and detailed design document for reach requirement/enhancement. • Develop/test/support new services and enhances existing services based off the requirements. • Produce unit tests and correct build issues related to unit test failures. • Participate in Data Modeling reviews and must be able to provide quality inputs adhering to best practices. • Generate documentation for existing services and new services with periodic updates • Analyze the Database requirements coming from supported applications and be able to provide feedbacks. • Co-ordinate any database changes with all tiers so there are no impacts to application as whole. • Communicates effectively and clearly with all departments and employees to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships. • Be a self-starter and work proactively to develop solutions to enhance the user experience. • Adhere to development timeframes for iterative development activities, and deliver on time. • Generic Soft/Managerial Skills Needed : Excellent verbal and written communications skills, team oriented individual, able to work in a complex environment with multiple activities *Position Requirements* • Minimum of 10 years overall experience in the field or related area • 7-10 years hands on UI development for web application and Java/J2EE technologies • 5+ years hands on J2EE application servers and oracle databases • Extensive experience developing Web applications using Java/J2EE, JSP, AJAX, Jquery, and Angular JS • Strong experience in technologies like AJAX, JSON, JavaScript, JSP, CSS, HTML, Struts 2, Angular JS and JQuery UI • Strong working knowledge in spring core, spring AOP, spring web services and Spring security • Strong knowledge of ORM technologies specifically JPA, hibernate • Strong working knowledge of EJB, JMS & JTA technologies • Experience developing web services (Rest and SOAP), service versioning • Knowledge of authentication/authorization of web applications and web-services • Experience with SOAP UI, experience with SOAP UI test automation/load testing is a big plus • Strong working knowledge in build process using maven, experience with build automation is a plus • Strong working knowledge of sub version • Strong knowledge of SQL and PL/SQL along with SQL tuning capabilities • Develop highly scalable application with focus on performance improvements • Able to develop process improvement solutions and automations • Excellent communication and writing skills • Ability to do current and future state analysis and design • Excellent ability in problem solving and process analysis • Able to capture high level workflow requirements • Working experience with TTD process • Well versed with capability maturity model (CCM) • Extensive Technical Skills required(Must) • OS Platform *Here are some of the specific technologies we use:* · Hadoop · Flume · Kafka · Storm · MemSQL · Java · Maven · Git · Jenkins · Splunk/Hunk · Apache Pig · Unix/Linux *Email is the best way to reach me.* ISO 9001:2008 Certified WMBE Firm 1441 E.
