*Job Title:  AIX Administrator Location:  Atlanta, GA Duration:  12 Months *

*Skills Required:*

   1. Extensive experience with IBM AIX 6.1 and VIO server 2.2 and
   experience with AIX 7.1
   2. Extensive experience with IBM Power Virtualization, creation and
   management of virtual servers, Hardware Management Consoles
   3. Extensive experience with Live Partition Mobility
   4. Extensive experience with NPIV
   5. Extensive experience using SAN disks from multiple SAN vendors
   6. Experience with writing scripts using Korn shell, Perl
   7. Experience with IBM Tivoli Storage Manager, Tivoli Monitoring
   8. Experience with troubleshooting software and hardware problems
   9. Experience installing IBM APARs, PTFs, maintenance upgrades
   10. TCP/IP and networking experience
   11. Strong verbal and written communication skills
   12. Strong interpersonal skills
   13. Strong teamwork and customer support focus
   14. Ability to analyze, interpret, and simplify technical information,
   and clearly communicate this information to target audiences

   *Skills Preferred:*
   15. Experience working with software development technical teams
   16. Experience tuning the AIX environment
   17. Performance management of servers in a virtualized environment
   18. Experience with NIM, IBM Power Linux, Java,
   19. Experience working on IBM POWER6, POWER7 and POWER8 server hardware,
   firmware upgrades
   20. Infiniband and GPFS
   21. MicroFocus COBOL
   22. WebSphere MQ
   23. Genesys Management Framework
   24. Experience using Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook and other Microsoft
   Office Suite products
   25. Familiar with IBM DB2, Oracle DB, MySQL
   26. Understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley

   *Experience required:*
   27. 6-8 years of enterprise AIX administration in a corporate environment
   28. Working with subject matter experts and users

   *Responsibilities:*
   29. Managing a number of assigned servers and applications, backup on
   other servers and applications
   30. Standard trouble shooting procedures for hardware and software
   problems
   31. Software maintenance
   32. Configuration documents
   33. Scheduled 24/7 on-call support

Technical diagrams (server environments, relationship diagrams, workflows,
etc.)
