*Title: Informatica Administrator*
*Duration: 6+Months*
*Location: San Ramon, CA*
The Informatica Administrator is responsible for set up and manage the
whole Informatica PC, IDQ & MM environment and ETL infrastructure. Also,
the admin should work with application development teams closely and
implementation of the best practices against the ETL environment and
resolve all platform related issues. Having development experience in
Informatica environment is added advantage. Ideal candidates will work
closely with data stewards, ETL developers, and business analysts
demonstrating the ability to partner and maintain confidence as it relates
to coordinating disparate information while being able to translate for IS
consumption. In addition, the selected candidate will need to be flexible
for 24x7 support model on shift rotation basis.
Having experience in L1/L2/L3 production support model is also added
advantage.
*Desired Skills and Experience :*
. Expertise in Informatica 9.x installation and
configuration(9.5 & 9.6 preferred) on Linux environment
. Understand the Informatica 9.x Components and Enumerate the
primary PC, DQ and MM application services
. Experience on Grid set up, HA and configuration
. Understand ETL Infrastructure
. Describe best practices in object naming, security
. Manage users, groups, privileges, roles and permissions
. Experience in native and LDAP security domains
. Hands on technical expertise on creating and configure of
IS, model repository service, data integration service, Analyst Service and
Content management services etc.
. Experience in domain management tasks including the backup
and restore
. Hands on technical expertise in data quality execution
. Monitor and troubleshoot the Informatica PC and DQ platform
related issues
. Knowledge of Informatica PC & Data Quality standards,
guidelines and best practices
. Demonstrated experience with design and implementation of
Informatica PC, Data Quality applications for the business and technology
users across the entire full development life-cycle.
. Complex quality rule and index design, development and
implementation patterns with cleanse, parse, standardization, validation,
scorecard, exception, notification and reporting with ETL
and Real-Time consideration.
. Must possess excellent analytical skills and demonstrated
ability to effectively troubleshoot and provide solutions and potential for
24/7 on call responsibilities on a rotational basis
. Expertise in data mapping, data validation, data
manipulation, data analysis, use case, test cases, etc.
. Proven experience translating business problems into
actionable data quality initiatives
. Profile source data and determine all source data and
metadata characteristics
. Design, execute, and present profiling/audit results, in
summary and in detail, to the business analyst, data steward, and project
management
. Experience in working with Informatica Data Quality Analyst
. Assist the business analyst/project manager/data steward in
defining or modifying the project plan based on these results
. Test data quality plans for accuracy and completeness
. Design and execute the data quality plans that will
cleanse, de-duplicate, and otherwise prepare project data for subsequent
phases
. Detailed knowledge in Oracle databases, schemas, table
structures, data models-
. Ability to understand related technologies of Data
warehouse, Data Marts and Operational Data Store
. Must possess excellent communication skills and ability to
collaborate with stakeholders business partners, IT project team members
etc.,
