*Title : Java Developer*

*Location : Cincinnati, Ohio*

*Size of team:* 60-70 developers (grouped on different projects)

*Core framework:* Angular JS (on the front end)

*Backend:* Java heavy on backend

*Level:* Senior level candidates only – must be able to ramp up within 1-2
weeks / Junior level (1-2 yrs. of experience and must LOVE technologies)



*Need USC/GC/EAD-GC only*



*Interview process: *

*•         Phone screen – 30 minutes (within 24hr. of submittal)*

*•         Onsite--In person mandatory—Locals only (same week as the phone
screen ideally)*

*•         At onsite interview the candidate will be expected to write code
on the White board (to see their thinking process and how they solve the
problems) EX Question: “walk me through the process of how you would create
a bowling score calculator”*

*•         Hiring decisions—Made within 24-48hrs of final interview (open
to start dates of ASAP to 2 weeks from offer)*



*Personality (soft skills)*

·         Must be able to lead and hold a discussion with other developers

·         Nice if they have the ability to communicate with upper mgmt.



*Additional details:  *

·         Must like fast pace environment / Agile preferred.  (They don’t
have to have a strong Agile Background but must want it)

·         Full stack developers (front to back end)

·         Self-motivated, innovative, able to collaborate with others on
their ideas

·         Environment is Pair programming (all programmers are paired
together)

·         If a technology is on their Resume they must be prepared to
discuss it in the interview

·         *Programming style: Pair programming*

·         Methodology: Agile with 2 week sprints with the use of Swim lane
boards

·         Mandatory Deployments every week

·         QA is automated—Code is automated and tested by the developers
(there is a testing team however the developers must be able to test their
code) *The developer must* *be able and willing to test their own code*.
Ask them this question during your initial phone call with them.  Ask them
how they do it as well and make notes and send with submittal.

·         *Manual QA is done on responsive design across multi devices.*
