*Position:: Java Developer with System integration* *Location:: Sunnyvale, CA* *Duration:: 12+ months* *Rate:: $50/hr on C2C (Fix)* *Description :-* · Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs, and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs, primarily for end users. Using current programming language and technologies, writes code, completes programming, and performs testing and debugging of applications. Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications. · Responsibilities · Design features for a for multi-tenancy, high availability, scalability, manageability and extensibility · Work closely with the development team & product management to evaluate new feature requests, prototype, design and implement new software components · Use test driven methodologies and automation in the design and development phase to ensure quality before hand-off to SQA teams for further testing and verification · Keep up-to-date with technical developments in the field of manageability, security and monitoring · Willing to work with internal and outsourced development partners on software applications design and development · Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with applications design and development guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk · Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into projects and activities in the software applications design organization · Provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members *Knowledge and Skills :-* · 10+ years development experience with the system software · Excellent knowledge of J2EE and solid core Java programming skills · Experience with RESTful Web Service API, SOAP/Apache CXF · Experience in the development of high availability and database-centric enterprise-class software on DB2, My SQL or Postgres · Programming knowledge around No SQL databases is desirable · Solid experience with SQL/NoSQL programming and development experience in designing and implementing database schemas · Experience with object – relational persistence paradigms (e.g. JPA/Hibernate), JDBC · Familiar with JUnit/JMock, SNMP4J, Syslog4J, JNDI/LDAP, JMS, XML · Familiar with Gradle, SVN · Experience with object oriented design methodology and familiar with design pattern · Proficient at problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and problem solving · Knowledge and passion for solid software engineering practices, release processes and project life cycles · Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written. Must be able to write clear functional specifications and design documents and engage with customers on technical discussions · Self-directed; requires minimal supervision to work on products · Strong team player. Willingness to proactively interact with the team and achieve results in a dynamic small company environment · Extensive experience with multiple software applications design tools and languages · Excellent analytical and problem solving skills · Experience in overall architecture of software applications for products and solutions · Designing and integrating software applications running on multiple platform types into overall architecture · Evaluating forms and processes for software applications testing and methodology, including writing and execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools · Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
