We currently have an opportunity for a *COBOL Develope* with a major direct Teradata Client *in *Seattle,WA Role: Senior level COBOL Developer Duration: Two months with potential extension Work site : Seattle for first few weeks to set up project then can work remote Expenses covered while on site (would prefer local candidates if possible) The current need is for a full-time resource (US Person, not visa holder) to work on a project migrating COBOL Teradata applications from a mainframe to AIX. The work it largely on tracking down compilation issues and modifying code to be compliant with the newer libraries. The work is immediate, full-time, and ~ 2 months with likely follow-on potential based on quality. Key skill/experience: Developing or modifying COBOL applications that access Teradata. Bonus would be having done it on AIX. The US Person piece is critical—US citizens and Green card holders only. Seattle area would be great, but not absolutely critical.
