The Cloud Operations lead Engineer will be responsible for developing
automation scripts using Puppet and system shell languages for application
infrastructure across cloud based Linux and Windows systems and,
configuring and deploying automated build and test systems for continuous
integration.
Responsibilities
● Development and testing in multiple system shells and SCM tools to
automate management and deployment of applications to the cloud
● Configuration and customization of continuous integration environments
and processes
● Analysis and troubleshooting of deployment and configuration setup of SCM
and cloud platforms. Requirements
● Bachelor's degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
or related field
● 3+ years of experience with Linux/Windows system administration. Red Hat
or Microsoft Certification is preferred.
● Experience with bash/.bat/Powershell scripting
*● Experience with Puppet/Chef is strongly preferred *
*● Experience with Continuous Integration systems like Jenkins is strongly
preferred *
*● Experience with VMware and, AWS (preferred), Rackspace or Azure *
● Experience in Python / Ruby / PHP / Perl / Other scripting language
● Experience with source code management (Git, SVN) in a collaborative
environment
● Able to professionally communicate with other team members
This is a minimum 3 month contract but will extend. The person will sit in
Raritan, NJ but has the ability to work remote a few days a week once
acclimated. May travel to Morris Plains, NJ as well
