*Job Title* Sr. Oracle 12c DBA *Project Location* Jersey City, NJ *Duration* 3 months /Contract *Skills Required and Job Description:* *MOI : TELEPHONIC + FACE2FACE* * Qualifications:* - *Minimum 10 years of experience *supporting Oracle production database including hands-on senior database administration experience with *Oracle 12c, 11g, 10g and 9i*; includes strong proficiency skills in both Unix and Windows environment - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent work experience - Proficiency with Unix and Windows shell scripting, PERL and PL/SQL programming languages, SQL Query tuning, System level monitoring and tuning, RMAN, Advanced Networking and security features, handling BLOB objects, support of Partitioning and Oracle Text, knowledge of Oracle database replication, standby and Data Guard; client connectivity tools, such as ODBC and OLEDB, ONAMES , OID and OEM - Experience in administering and managing large databases in complex enterprise environments, e.g. Oracle databases larger than 500 GB and/or user population greater than 15,000; expertise in Oracle database performance tuning and troubleshooting; Experience in 3rd party tools to support the database infrastructure such as BMC Patrol, Remedy, Maestro, NetBackup, CyberArk, ERP application software like Peoplesoft -Financial and HR modules, Security products like Guardium, Optim and Vormetrics - Strong interpersonal skills, must be a team player with the ability to easily and effectively interact with technical, non-technical, support, and business personnel at all levels.
