Greetings from Infosmart Systems!!! *We have an immediate requirement with our client and the details are as follows.* *Job Title: Data Security/solution architect* *Location: Foster City, CA or Austin, TX* *Duration: 1 year, with the potential to extend for a 2nd year. Future conversion is a possibility* *Job Description:* Client looking for a resource for 6-12 months to help support their users during the migration away from Citrix. 6-12 month contract only position. *Required:* *Must Have's:* o Bachelor degree is REQUIRED (preferably in a Tech-related field) o 8-10 years experience in Data Security / Data Protection / Information Security /etc. o Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software (Typical knowledge of those listed in JD) o Strong knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology (Typically required) o Strong knowledge of laws, legal codes, government regulations, agency rules and the democratic political process o Strong knowledge of Data protection technologies such as: Hardware Security Modules; Technologies from SafeNet, Voltage, Thales, and Vormetric; Transparent encryption technologies from Microsoft, IBM, and Oracle. o Strong knowledge of cryptographic standards and algorithms such as AES, SHA, DES; PKCS standards o Strong knowledge of data security standards - FFIEC, PCI-DSS, GLBA, FIPS Certification, etc *Role's:* Design and implement data protection for applications at various levels: application level, data/database level, file level for a variety of platforms, operating systems, databases, and Hadoop. This role will COLLABORATE intensively with development teams (internal customer) and must be able to communicate the need to move forward with security measures. *See JD for further details *Details:* The primary function and role of the Data Security Architect is to design and implement data protection for applications at various levels: application level, data/database level, file level for a variety of platforms [java, .net, c/c++], operating systems [linux, windows, solaris, AIX] and databases [oracle, DB2, MS-SQL], and Hadoop.
