*Position:: SAP BPM, SPLUNK, Solarwind Monitoring and alerting resource* *Location:: Dublin, OH* *Duration:: 12+ months* *Technical/Functional Skills :-* · Successful job candidate will have extensive practical experience with Splunk, SAP (BPM) and SolarWinds . · Experience in monitoring tool architecture, deployment, and maintenance within multi-vendor tool suites environment complying with published SLA’s. · Practical experience in working with application & infrastructure teams to define / interpret monitoring /alerting requirements for managing end user experience, fault isolation, and proactive environment health management analysis and reporting. · Practical experience and proven knowledge of the Splunk log file monitoring tool to include upgrades, agent deployments, both application and product problem analysis/resolution, reporting, event correlation, and dashboarding. · Requires practical knowledge of transaction processing, application development, systems administration, and web infrastructure (web services, trend analysis, etc.) monitoring with a focus on log file event detection, correlation, alerting, reporting, and dashboarding. · Lead in evaluating, recommending, and implementing monitoring tools, standards, and processes. · Must have proven understanding of underlying technologies – i.e., operating systems (UNIX, Linux, and Windows), networks, and databases. Prefer but do not require systems engineering experience. *Experience Required :-* · SAP Information Steward Tech Lead *Roles & Responsibilities :-* · Architects and Implements performance and end to end operations monitoring, automated event correlation analysis, and incident drill down diagnosis in a complex IT operations environment – i.e., web application emphasis. · Institutes proactive environment management. Organization is adopting service orientation applications and business activity monitoring. · Creates training plans and materials, organize the classes, and implements user training. · Defines new log sources and configuring the forwarder and any data fields, creating searches, creating alerts, and building operational dashboards. *Generic Managerial Skills :-* · Managing requirement, task, status tracking and reporting.
