Please include your employer details as well. *EDI analyst* *Waukesha, WI* *Duration : 1+ Year* *MOI : Telephonic + Skype* *Ideal candidates will have experience with* - 5+ years of EDI experience in large to medium environments - 3-5 years of SAP environment experience - Excellent background with EBI Translator - Experience with Extol - Ability to work onsite 5 days a week - Excellent communication skills *Overview:* The IT EDI Analyst role has responsibility for handling daily EDI tasks. This includes processing all inbound and outbound transactions between the Company and its customers and suppliers, resolving any data exceptions encountered with our internal support staff and following up with the appropriate party on any issues that may arise. *Responsibilities:* - Implement EDI processing by developing new EDI maps, performing testing and setup of an EDI partner - Sends and receives EDI transactions through the VAN and other telecommunication methods. - Processes EDI transactions accurately and in a timely manner. - Receive, format, and process non-standard EDI transactions. - Resolves processing problems and keeps the appropriate people informed. - Assists in setup and testing of new customers and changes to existing EDI transactions. - Disseminate knowledge of key EDI related activities to others within the organization. - Monitoring the EDI system. - Establish system processing standards by documenting all EDI processes. - Support different business areas including: Sales, Customer Service, Fulfillment, and Credit as required. - Exercise independent judgment in methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results on new or special assignments and provide consultation on complex projects and be a top level contributor/specialist. *Basic Qualifications:* - Associates Degree, College diploma or university degree in the field of Computer Science, MIS, Business or related field, or an equivalent of 5 years of industry experience; - 5+ years of EDI experience with a large or medium sized manufacturing company; - DI (ANSI X/12) knowledge and experience; - Ability to develop and read EDI ANSI X12 maps; - Knowledge of E-Commerce technologies (AS2, FTP, SFTP, HTTP(S)); - Experience in all facets of EDI including basic transaction set mapping, trading partner setup, testing, and implementation; - Some experience mapping between XML and X.12 standard is highly desirable; - Knowledge of and experience using SAP (IDocs), EBI Translator and AS2 Extol Secure a plus. *Thanks & Regards,* *Dheeraj Chauhan* *Sr. Technical Recruiter* *222 N.
