*Local consultants with experience in salesforce & Microstrategy are given first preference* *Project ManagerOwings Mills, MD 21117Duration: 6+ months* *Responsibilities* - Manages projects, develops and directs technical project teams through all phases and activities of the project life-cycle process associated with major information technology systems projects that are essential to departmental missions and affect operations on a long-term and continuing basis. - Creates all project planning documentation and follows all Defined processes. - Prepares, implements, monitors, and updates the project plan. Coordinates with the business owner and upper level management to ensure the actions are consistent with the approved plan. - Documents reasons for budget excess or shortfall. - Manages project budgets for both expense and capital against the original project budget. - Creates Executive Summaries for all contractor resources required to complete a project. *Required Skill* A minimum of two (2) years of project management experience in a dynamic environment Experience managing projects with a minimum budget of $1 million Experience utilizing MS Project Extremely flexible/adapatable Experience driving projects from a business perspective. Must possess excellent demeanor when working with the business to translate business requirements in to technical terms, and vice versa. *Preferred Skills* MicroStrategy reporting experience is preferred. Salesforce experience is preferred.
