*DAILY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES: *
1. Design, build, implement, secure and maintain databases for development,
test and production environments. Work with client's team to identify and
analyze performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions.
2. Write and modify scripts & stored procedures (e.g.: SQL, PHP) for
database access or reporting.
3. Ability to efficiently problem solve and analyze a variety of problems,
assess risks and implement solutions while adhering to security standards.
4. Participate in cross-training activities to achieve a comfort level
supporting client data collection servers, as well as cross-train other
team members on DBA responsibilities.
5. Work with cross-functional teams to support customer requests as
appropriate.
6. Other database duties as assigned.
7. Report progress weekly to management and project manager.
