*Job Title: Hadoop Developer* *Location: Hillsboro, OR* *Duration: 12 months* Job Details: • Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider one year of relevant work experience in lieu of every year of education • At least 6 years of experience in Information Technologies. Mandatory Technical Skills • Skills: Python, Spark, Map Reduce, Hive, Pig, Hbase, Sqoop • Hands on experience in Python & Spark • At least 2 years’ Hands-on experience in the Big Data eco-system (HDFS, Map Reduce, Hive, Hbase, etc.) • Experience working on large datasets • Working experience with large scale Hadoop environments, build and support design for ingesting large data sets into Hadoop ecosystems, validating \ enriching the data, and distributing significant amounts of that data to SQL and to other applications. Preferred • Real Time Event Processing experience using lambda functions in AWS • Exposure to EMR, Air flow • In-depth understanding of database and analytics technologies in the industry including MPP, Relational, and NOSQL databases. • GitHub, and Jenkins based deployment is desirable • Experience in solving complex and large-scale data challenges involving AWS architecture, Cloud migration, AWS EMR, Redshift • Experience in Data Analysis, Data Migration, Data Cleansing, Transformation, Integration, Data Import, and Data Export through the use of multiple ETL tools • Business intelligence expertise and technical skills to successfully deliver Business Intelligence solutions based on Cloud Platform. • Experience in software development life cycle, Agile\SCRUM methodology • Experience on Platform Design & Administration will be an added advantage. • Should be able to work in team environment and have client interfacing skills • Experience in Retail, CPG and Logistics Domain. • Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.
