Includes data aggregation from various sources, complex data logic, API calls, automation scripts, user interfaces, documentation, and training. · Supplement the firewall engineering team as needed to assist with log analysis, troubleshooting firewall problems, build firewall policies/rules, and implementing firewall changes. *Required:* · Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience · 7+ years of IT work experience · 3+ years of security work experience · 2+ years of development work experience · Demonstrates problem solving skills and willingness to experiment · Working knowledge of Checkpoint firewall configuration and ability to analyze firewall rules and traffic · Working experience developing automation, scripting, using good ALM practices and languages/tools such as PowerShell, Python, or other tools. · Sound understanding of industry standard security frameworks such as CIS. *Preferred:* · Working knowledge of Tufin. · Working knowledge of automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, Chef, or Terraform. · Experience with SCRUM framework and working on an Agile team.
