*Position: Hadoop, Hive Impala Developer* *Location: Bloomfield , CT Duration: Contract * *Job Description:* *Technical/Functional Skills* '-Primary: IntelliJ, PyCharm or Eclipse -Secondary: Jenkins, uDeploy, Git, Rally(for Agile) *Experience Required* -Experience with Java, J2EE, Unix and Shell Scripting -Scala and/or Python experience -Experience with Hadoop, Hive, HQL, Impala *Good to have :-* -Working knowledge of Spark a Big plus -Familiarity with Agile and Scrum teams -Healthcare industry experience. Engineer skill set at least one of the following skills: Python, Scala, JavaScript, Hadoop Understanding of data models Degree in a quantitative discipline: statistics, applied mathematics, computer science, data mining, machine learning, or some other empirical science. Experience developing in languages such as Java, Python, AngularJS, PERL, Visualization (Looker and Tableau) and others.
