*Job Title* Oracle dba w/SQL *Project Location* Miami FL *Duration* 6 months /Contract * Skills Required and Job Description:* * MOI:-Telephonic + Face 2 Face* * Qualifications* - Senior DBA with 7+ years of experience as an Oracle 11g, 12c and SQL 2008, 2012, 2014, production DBA on Windows and Linux in a 24*7 environment. - Expert-level knowledge and work experience as an Oracle DBA - In-depth knowledge and work experience as a SQL DBA - Documentation preparation for best practices - Strong communication skills. *Oracle Skills:* - Considerable knowledge of Oracle 10g/11g, Oracle internals, installation and configuration - Five to Seven years of Oracle production database support experience, and at least three years of database design and architecture experience - Experience with Oracle Data guard high available architecture - Experience with SQL, PL/SQL programming and tuning - Familiarity with Partitioning, OEM, and RAC - Strong Database performance tuning of large systems - Well versed with Unix programming and utilities - Demonstrate the sharp troubleshooting skills - Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) preferred. *SQL Server Skills* - SQL Server 2008/2010/2012, database administration, database tuning, database management, database security and clustering - Advanced T-SQL skill - Knowledge of the database engine - Understand the data storage structure for tables and indexes - Understand database backup and recovery - Setup, administer and migrate Reporting Services - Author SSRS reports, experience and understanding of SQL SSRS - Deploy and trouble shoot SSIS packages - SQL Profiler and system DMVs - Principles of Security administration - Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) or better in SQL Server preferred. - Experience as a Linux RedHat sysadmin (installing, patching and troubleshooting issues). *Soft Skills* - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Flexible and self-managed - Creative and innovative - Ability to coordinate a project, think critically, assess input and develop possible solutions to identified or potential problems - Capable of working with minimal supervision and meeting deadlines. - Self-motivated, with keen attention to details.
