Title: Lead ATG Consultant
Location: Boston, MA | Woonsocket | Woonsocket, RI Duration: 10 Month Skills: 1. Serve as the Development Lead for ATG eCommerce project modules2. Work with team members/clients and track the deverables closely. Ability to lead development team for the success of the projects3. Assess, recommend, build and integrate with best-of-breed, off-the-shelf commercial and open-source software components4. Assess feasibility and ramifications of new business requirements. Design appropriate solutions and recommend alternative approaches when necessary5. Stay abreast of advancements in eCommerce technologies in order to determine relevance and possible impact to existing system6. Recommend and drive adoption of engineering best practices, including use of design patterns, code reviews and automated unit testing. ATG, BCC, CSC, Oracle, Jboss, Apache. ) Good Communication and Analytical skills2) Strong Design and Architecture experience in ecommerce landscape3) Hands on experince in Core Java, Java/JEE skills like JSP, Servlets, JDBC, EJB, JMS, XML, Webservices, HTML, JavaScript, XML, HTTP/HTTPS,JDBC, Java API 4) Strong experience in ATG, Subversion, Ant, Solaris, JBoss5) Hands on experince in ATG Commerce Server, ATG form handlers and droplets6)Thorough knowledge of ATG platform flow, structure and process (ATG commerce, BCC and CSC)7) Demonstrated hands on ability in architecture, design and development of scalable, complex Java / JEE software applications8) At least 2-3 years of hands-on expertise in designing and development experience on ATG Platforms (ATG version 2007.1 and above)9) Database Programming Skill and exposure to popular databases – Oracle10) Hands-on jBoss Application server11) End-to-end experience in software development life-cycle and familiar with agile methodologies12) Project leadership skills for managing a track of work and defining a comprehensive solution leading toward a common vision Digital : Art Technology Group (ATG) Commerce. Ability to work well with different staff levels within and out of core competency. - Ability to translate highly technical solutions/problems to audiences at varying technical levels. - Strong ability to prepare and present technical documentation. - Communicates in a professional manner when interacting across staff levels and internal/external customers.
