Respecte del fam�s poema
que ja havia sortit a la llista i que tohom atribueix a Brecht i sembla que no
ho es, he trobat una versi� anglesa:
"In Germany they
came first for the Communists, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a
Communist. Then they came for the Jews, and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a
Jew. Then they came for the Trade Unionists and I didn't speak up because I
wasn't a Trade Unionist. Then they came for the Catholics, and I didn't speak up
because I was a Protestant. Then they came for me, and by that time there was no
one left to speak up."
El poema est� datat del
1939
Sembla ser que el Sr.
Martin Niemuller, no solsament era creient sino que a m�s era pastor
protestant.
Diuen que quan estava a la
pres�, un altre capell� li va preguntar: "Coi! que fas aqui!!" (versi� lliure) i
ell li va respondre: "Tal i com est� Alemanya avui dia, jo et pregunto: perqu�
tu no estas aqui dins amb mi?"
