For those unaware, RTHK3 — the network’s English language channel — has stood 
in sharp contrast to CRI for its factual journalistic coverage of Hong Kong 
principally but also at times of mainland China.  The station can be heard over 
the Internet by overseas listeners and I’ve been a regular listener for years.  
Sadly, that important and singular source appears to be drying up as Beijing 
tightens the noose around Hong Kong’s freedoms — freedoms the Chinese promised 
to respect until at least 2049 under its agreement with the UK at handover.
